Diamondback Cycles Established 1978

Diamondback was founded in 1978 by a small United States west coast distributor Western States Industries (WSI) who originally sold road bikes under the Centurion brand and later introduced BMX under the Diamondback brand.

From 2009 onwards, we see Diamondback bikes represented by trials legend Martyn Ashton and his Ashton/Diamondback team who propelled dirt and slopestyle star Sam Pilgrim onto the world scene. This multi talented mix of riders also put Diamondback in front of millions of consumers at the famous Animal/Relentless Bike Tour.

The 2012 Diamondback Outlook features all that we have learned from the development of the new trail frames, but they are designed around a smaller travel fork for the rider that may want to use their bike for everything from total off-road  to the ride to work. The Outlook is the second model in this years Diamondback hardtail line up. It has several upgrades over the entry entry level Overdrive. The 21 gears are from Shimano again (of course) but levers have been upgraded to Altus STI, the forks have been upgraded to Suntour XCT V3 now with 80mm of travel. There's now double mechanically actuated disc brakes one up front and one at the rear. Very capable off-road level MTB.

• Cycle Condition : New. This bike is shipped 90% assembled in a sealed box. Inflation of tyres, fitting of pedals, stem, handlebars, front wheel, saddle and seatpost are necessary. Gears and brakes may require some adjustment prior to riding.
