First established in Nottingham in 1887 Raleigh has a true range of pedigree products spanning across the leisure and race markets.

Within six years Raleigh became the biggest bicycle manufacturing company in the world and occupied a seven and a half acres in Faraday Road, Lenton, Nottingham.

Raleigh Pursuit Road Race Bike 14 Speed

Constructed from lightweight aluminium with road race geometry. Shimano bar mounted indexed shifters for effortless gear changing. Highlights include 36 hole deep section alloy rims with quick release front hub & Shimano derailleurs.

The larger 700c wheels with narrow 28c tyres and higher gearing make it easier to achieve and maintain higher speeds, than a mountain bike or hybrid. The Pursuit comes equipped with a 14 speed transmission, comprising of a Shimano SIS bar mounted shifters, 14-28 freewheel on the rear and a 52-42 double chainset. Powerful alloy calliper brakes are fitted to slow the bike in all conditions.
