The base has 2 fixed foot beds, for added stability and purchase when the pressures increase. The valve head can accommodate both Schrader and Presta valves by using adaptor stored neatly in head. The pressure gauge shows both BAR & P.S.I. and has a handy rotating pointer as a reminder of your desired setting.
