A folding bike that folds in seconds, rides like a dream and can be taken anywhere with you. The same riding comfort and characteristics as a regular bicycle are now available in portable form thanks to the innovative hinge-free frame and unique click-clack folding system. The ride is comfortable, steering simple and storage more than handy. On top of that you can also pull the folded bike along with you. The folding technology enables folding or unfolding of the bike in under 10 seconds and in only four steps. The handlebars provide a fantastic retro ‘chopper’ look and in practical terms they provide responsive steering with a clasp beneath the seat that enables fast folding without the use of tools or the need to get your hands dirty. These patented innovations were developed firmly to improve the user experience, and are strictly specific to Bigfish.
Click-Clack Folding System. The innovative click-clack system means that the bike can be folded or unfolded in less than 15 seconds without the use of tools and without getting your hands or clothes dirty. Very clever! Perfect for modern nomads!
City Bike Geometry. All the key points necessary for a great ride are positioned the same as with an ordinary city bike. Equal distances between the front and back wheels and the seat and handlebars provide a full-size bike ride.
Hinge-free Frame. The main frame has an innovative design with the single frame unbroken by a hinge. This was a fundamental engineering decision in the development of Bigfish as it provides rigidity and a more stable ride.
Hub Gears. Bigfish’s Shimano Nexus hub gears require less maintenance than outer gears, offer better damage protection and come with far less likelihood of the chain falling off. You can even switch gears even without pedalling.
Small Wheels. Smaller wheels are far more nimble than full-sized wheels making the bike is easier to manoeuvre, so riding through the city is easier and provides more flexible riding performance than a conventional city bike.
Mobility without Limits. You can ride the bike, carry or pull it – handling the bike is simple and designed for your convenience. A welcome characteristic is that, when folded, it is easy to pull the bike along with you. The Click-Clack Handlebars. The ingenious click-clack handlebars bring practicality and simplicity and take away the need for endless screwing and unscrewing. The Click-Clack Under-seat Joint. Folding and unfolding is now quicker than ever. With just one click, you’re already halfway there. After my first ride - Bigfish is as comfortable as Brompton. 'I checked the folding bike market very deep. I made test rides and visited the EURObike in Friedrichshafen. There are some cool folding bikes available - which you probably all know: The British Brompton, the German Birdy the US bike Friday and of course Dahon, and a lot more. But they are all very expensive… up to 1500 Euro and more. The bigfish I found just by surfing and search the Internet. After my first ride I can say - the Bigfish is comfortable as the Brompton.'
