This Ultimate Hardware smooth rolling needle bearing aheadset, is an idea replacement for worn out, loose or indexed aheadsets. Its design consists of 2 sets of replaceable needle bearing each with 24 caged rollers and rubber compression seals to keep contaminates at bay. Ideal for road, hybrid and mountain bikes.

The headset is the single area on your bike where the most shock is concentrated into the smallest surface area. Consider that every time you land on your front wheel, your body weight and the bike's, plus the added velocity all gets compacted onto just the tops and bottoms of a few small ball bearings. The need for a solid headset, made of quality materials can't be overstated.
